Aim The aim of this course is to revise participants on safe entry and work in a Confined Space.
Description The Confined Space Refresher Course is designed for persons who are qualified to enter and work in a Confined Space. The course provides participants with a review of the OH&S and legislative requirements and procedures to ensure the health and safety of any persons required to work in confined spaces. Safe entry and work in a confined space will also involve emergency response considerations (including first aid), use of personal protective equipment and fire fighting.

There are no recognised Units of Competency awarded for this course.
 Accreditation Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Risk Response &
Rescue Certificate as well as a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment.

Pre-Requisites
Competency in safe entry and work in a confined space to nationally recognised
standards.
 Assessment Participants must be able to identify a confined space, identify hazards and risks and detail safe entry and work requirements. They must also be able to operate whilst wearing protective equipment and explain emergency response procedures. Both written and practical assessment will be conducted.
