Problem

Leaks to internal building coming in from external façade due to no construction joints being installed during construction

Solution
A debris net had to be installed to the façade of the building due to rail tracks & traffic below work area.
Construction joints had to be cut out between brickwork & slab, backing rod was then installed followed by a waterproof construction joint (Enviro seal sealant) the surrounding area was then made good & a waterproof membrane was applied

Skills needed to complete the task

Rope Access level 3 & 2 for descending & ascending Lowering & Hauling
Advanced Rigging for installing debris net

The netting needed to protect both the railway as well as car and pedestrian traffic.
